At FuseTech, innovation starts with a clear belief: a better product speaks for itself. We recognised early on that while traditional overlay materials perform well in abrasion, they often fall short under impact. Instead of accepting that limitation, we chose to challenge it—refining alloy design, welding techniques, and equipment from the ground up to create a crack-free, smooth surface overlay with improved impact resistance.

We combine in-house testing with third-party assessments from independent laboratories across North America and Australia, including ATTAR, TUNRA Bulk Solids, InnoTech Alberta, and the National Research Council Canada – Energy, Mining and Environment division. For us, R&D isn’t just about innovation. It’s about solving real problems for the mining and material handling industry—helping our clients reduce maintenance, extend equipment life, and operate with confidence using high-performance CCO plates.
