Previously, the Mae Moh mine relied on traditional abrasion-resistant (AR) steel, which, while effective, had its limitations such as material hang-up and limited wear life. Recognizing the need for a more robust solution, TopHardfacing introduced our innovative DuroFlux M70, a 12 on 12 overlay, to their operations. This strategic shift has resulted in a remarkable improvement in wear life, extending it by approximately four times compared to the previous AR steel.

This significant enhancement has not only boosted the operational efficiency at the Mae Moh mine but has also set a new standard in durability and performance in challenging coal mining environments. The success story of TopHardfacing and Mae Moh is a testament to the transformative impact of our DuroFlux M70, and it underscores our commitment to delivering top-tier solutions in the realm of wear-resistant technologies.
